Russia Docks Woodland, 10 minutes walk from the tube station, is a beautiful area so close to central London and the Thames. There is lots of wildlife and plenty of wild greens.
This walk will mostly cover edible wild greens and flowers but I will be able to show you which trees and bushes you will be able to pick berries from later in the year.
Greens we are likely to find: dandelion, plantain, jack by the hedge, wild leek, hawthorn, sow thistle, chickweed and hopefully many more.
Minimum time 1 hour. Small group. Canada Water is on the Jubilee Line.
