In this third book, Vladimir returns to the Taiga to visit Anastasia and see his son for the first time. Before he gets there, he hears an account of how there was an attempt to capture Anastasia, and how she defended herself.
Vladimir takes gifts of toys and baby food for his son, but is eventually convinced by Anastasia that their son has everything he needs without these things. The natural way of brining up children is discussed in detail.
Later in the book, schools are discussed a lot and Vladimir visits an alternative forest school in Gelendzhik. The students built the school buildings themselves, they teach themselves, they have full autonomy, a system which sounds like it is working well.
