He Shou Wu is used a lot in Chinese medicine. It is said to restore vitality, improve memory, restore hair colour and thickness, promote longevity, etc, etc! It is also know as Fo Ti.
It is an uplifting herb and increases physical energy. David Wolfe lists it as number 5 in his top 5 herbs.
Start with a very small amount to see how sensitive you are to it, he shou wu is a very powerful herb.
