Hemp seeds are one of the most nutritionally complete food sources in the world. They contain about 25% protein - all the essential amino acids that our bodies need, in a form that is very easy to digest and assimilate. They contain large amounts of omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids, in an ideal ratio. They are also a good source of vitamins and minerals.
Hemp milk can be made by blending soaked hemp seeds with water and then straining through a muslin bag or cheesecloth, or you can use a Hemp Milk Maker to automate the process. We like to use orange juice or soak water from dried fruit instead of water.
We don't currently sell hemp seeds in smaller quantities. You can buy these same seeds in 500g bags from www.hempmarket.com (they also sell shelled hemp seeds plus many other hemp products).
