Top quality wild chaga from the wilderness of the Highlands of Scotland.
Chaga has been talked about a lot recently by David Wolfe and others as having lots of benefits, including longevity. According to Wikipedia, "The chaga mushroom is considered a medicinal mushroom in Russian and Eastern European folk medicine. [...] Since the 16th century, chaga mushrooms were recorded as being used in folk medicine and the botanical medicine of the Eastern European countries as a remedy for cancer, gastritis, ulcers, and tuberculosis".
Brew as a tea for 60 minutes to get the most out of it. Brewed this way, it tastes a bit like coffee!
It can also be added to smoothies and raw chocolate - I love it in chocolate.
Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) grows on birch trees. This chaga is wild harvested on a very small scale by a small company caring for the environment. It is dried and powdered, nothing else is added.
