The pieces are so small that they don't need soaking. I love mixing a bit into a salad, the nori soaks up the vegetable juices (and dressing) and gives a wonderful flavour. Or you can just sprinkle on top of a salad.
Although it is commonly know by its Japanese name nori, this sea vegetable does have an English name: laver. The Latin name is Porphyra umbilicalis.

Wild harvested in the Atlantic by Algamar. Organically certified by Consello Regulardor da Agricultura Ecoloxica Galicia. 100g of dried nori is equivalent to approximately 1kg of fresh nori.
